Here I have a question relating to PP No. 5/2007 should be able to help, on disposal of assets: - |

(a) |
We intend to dispose of the asset that four wagons of container used as a medical file room in a hospital. Original procurement price amounted to RM25,000.00 each.

(b) |
After moving to the new hospital, a file room provided is insufficient and needs additional room. The file room needs have been identified in a storey on the new hospital and requires provision to partition /gypsum board / shelf - shelf file that is estimated at RM50, 000.00.However, we note the provisions of the development can not be provided by the Ministry within a period of 2 years because of the warranty period and equipment for the new hospital has been provided.

In this regard, referring to the new circular PP 5/2007, there was a Clerk as the 33.5 (Barter - Barter trade). Here I would like to seek clarification CAN restricted tenders are opened to buy container and replaced with work - work the purchase / construction of the partition board / shelf - shelf files in the new hospital by the company successful and how the procedure. |

Barter trade is only for security assets such as firearms. Refer to page 47 of TPA |
