No. Loans to entrepreneurs are from funds established by the Government and managed by certain financial institutions. Funds such as Bumiputera Entrepreneurs Fund 2 (TUB2) and the Funds for Small and Medium Enterprises (TIKS) can be applied through commercial banks, finance companies and the Development Financial Institutions (DFI). Loans from the Special Tourism Fund  is managed by the Infrastructure Development Bank Malaysia Berhad (BPIMB). While New Shipping Fund is managed by Bank Industri and Teknologi Malaysia Berhad (BITMB).
